1.        Trim the stems at an angle
Use a sharp knife to cut 2 to 3 centimeters off the stems at an angle. This allows the flowers to absorb water more effectively. Also, remove any leaves from the lower part of the stems so that no foliage is submerged in the water.

2.        Add flower food
Mix the provided flower food with clean, cold water in the vase. Ideally, change the water every 3 days.
